Equitait Healthy Joint Plus is a complimentary food stuff for the nutritional maintenance of healthy cartilage and joints in horses.
It is of veterinary strength composition, has high levels of Glucosamine HCL (99% pure) and contains Boswellia Serrata.

Glucosamine and chondroitin are naturally occurring chemicals found inside the horses body which assist in the production of cartilage. Cartilage is a natural shock absorber in equine joints which prevents their bones from rubbing together. As the horse gets older the cartilage between the bones begins to thin and this can cause pain as the bones begin to rub together (osteoarthritis). Increasing the amount of chondroitin and glucosamine can improve cartilage function, therefore, relieving the pain in the joints.
Boswellia is anecdotally anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anti-rheumatic. MSM is anti inflammatory and hyaluronic acid is said to be useful to prevent “acute flare ups” or for horses with swelling.
