Coming from Duns:

Head out of Duns on the Greenlaw road (A6105). After the new high school take the next main road signposted towards the Golf Course/ Borthwick Quarry/ Longformacus/Gifford – follow road for approx 1 mile passing through the golf course and take a left down a single track tarmac road with the blue Equitait sign and also 2 small signs saying ‘Langton Edge’ and ‘Raecleughhead’ at the road end Carry on up the track for 1 mile – at the end of the track is our property, the farmhouse, on the left hand side as the road enters the farm.

Coming from Greenlaw/ Westruther:

Head into Duns on the Duns road (A6105. Take the first left signposted towards the Golf Course/ Borthwick Quarry/ Longformacus/Gifford – follow road for approx 1 mile passing through the golf course and take a left down a single track tarmac road with the blue Equitait sign and also 2 small signs saying ‘Langton Edge’ and ‘Raecleughhead’ at the road end. Coming from Gifford:

Heading south out of Gifford on the Duns road (B6355), fork right towards Longformacus, continue on through Longformacus towards Duns. Pass Hardens farm on the left at the bottom of the hill as you approach Duns, then take your next right (before the windmill) down a single track tarmac road with the blue Equitait sign and also 2 small signs saying ‘Langton Edge’ and ‘Raecleughhead’ at the road end. Carry on up the track for 1 mile – at the end of the track is our property, the farmhouse, on the left hand side as the road enters the farm.

If you find yourself passing the golf course you have gone too far and missed the turning for Raecleughhead.

N.B If using SATNAV the postcode will often take drivers approximately 1 mile further up the road from our turn off – look out for the Equitait sign at the end of the road.

If travelling south from Carfraemill:

As you come into Lauder on the A68 after the 20mph signs take the right before the garage signposted ‘Industrial Estate’. Then see below…

If travelling north go through Lauder town:

Go past the garage, take the next left turn signposted ‘Industrial Estate’. Then see below…

Go through industrial estate passing Robert Thomson’s and Kinpars Plastics. After the fire station the road forks – go left.

After a cattle grid the road bends sharply to the right, follow this track all the way. You’ll pass 3 cattle grids. Keep going past the Whitlaw sign, past some green agricultural sheds on the left and over another cattle grid. After this cattle grid there’s a right turn, keep going forward on the main track, past the turning for Trabrown Hill.

As you come along to some properties on the right, keep following the track. It will bend round to the right and you’ll see the steading on your left hand side.
