Referrals
Horses can be referred to whomever we believe is going to give the best possible care to that horse, pony or donkey and its owner. Different centres are renowned for their care of particular types of condition because of their facilities or because of the experience of their staff.
Colin’s extensive contacts in the equine veterinary world enables further specialist advice to be available at the end of a phone or e-mail. It is, of course, essential that a referral centre communicates well with the client and the referring vet. Having worked at both a university and a commercially run referral centre, Colin is well placed in understanding how to get the best from both of these types of centre.
